Coronation Weekend
Come along to Belvoir Castle for a right royal celebration of King Charles III’s accession to the throne. There will be a screening of the coronation ceremony.  It’s a street party-style celebration to remember – complete with plenty of bunting, of course!

Big Screen Viewing
Please join us to celebrate the Kings Coronation. Saturday 6th May 2023 at 10am The Coronation will be shown on a big screen and a free buffet will be provided - kindly donated by Melton Foods and The Glass Pantry Members and Non Members Welcome.

Kings Coronation Live 

Not received an invitation to the Coronation at Westminster Abbey?  You are invited to watch live coverage of the historic event from the spectacular St Mary’s Church, Melton Mowbray. Light refreshments will also be available.

King Charles III Coronation Afternoon Tea
Join us to celebrate the King Charles III Coronation in a traditional style with our delicious coronation Afternoon Tea. Set in the unique and relaxed surroundings of the 1620s barn and gardens, you’ll be able to enjoy a selection of tasty sandwiches, cakes & scones, served along with hot or cold soft drinks. We’ll also have some royally good crafts to take part in.

Coronation Stamps

Join us in celebrating the coronation of King Charles III by making your very own giant silhouette stamp.  Paint and decorate your stamp with your own unique design – let your imagination run wild! Suitable for Ages 4+.

The Big Coronation Lunch
Live music, children’s activities and a big picnic in the park will mark King Charles III coronation in Coalville.  Refreshments will be available during the event and attendees are encouraged to bring their own food, and picnic blankets or chairs.

Party in the Park
To celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III Ashby de la Zouch Town council will be holding a free party in the park at the Bath Grounds on Sunday 7th May 2023.  Bring a picnic, blanket and chairs. We have lots of great entertainment planned for the day to suit all ages. There will be a food court and bar onsite.

Coronation Street Party
Charles Booth Centre is hosting a street party to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles at the centre. All are welcome. There will be music and games, bring food to share. Friends of Thringstone will be conducting a village litter pick for 2 hours from 10am on The Green, so we are sure that the village will be at its sparkling best for the festivities.
