A guided walk looking at how Stenson and Stephenson shaped the area that became Coalville. In the early 1800s Coalville didn’t exist and was created by Whitwick and Snibston collieries and the Leicester and Swannington Railway. From the 1840s a new industrial town grew to become a prosperous town.
