Three Swans Hotel in Harborough awarded conference prize

Three Swans Hotel

A hotel in a county town has been named conference centre of the year at the 2017 Les Routiers awards.

The Three Swans, in Market Harborough's High Street, was the only Leicestershire winner at the annual awards.

Over five centuries, the 59-bedroom hotel has welcomed kings, queens, earls and bishops.

It was bought in 2013 by the Coaching Inn Group, which spent £1 million refurbishing the property last year.

Group chief executive Kevin Charity said: "We're delighted to receive this accolade."We have a fantastic team – led by Mike Wheeler – and their hard work, combined with our £1 million investment last year, has seen us receive fantastic feedback from our customers."
