New General Manager at Scalford Hall

Daniel Gough has recently joined Scalford Hall Hotel as General Manager, bringing with him a fresh new vision and keen plans for development.

"I am thrilled to be a part of the team, particularly with this being my first GM role - it was an opportunity I couldn't pass up, and I love the location and country house style of the hotel with so much scope for expansion. it is a very exciting time to join and I am looking forward to the responsibility and challenges of driving the team forward."

This is Daniel's first role as General Manager following various Deputy GM roles at a number of leading national hotels and a wealth of experience in all areas of the business, including operations, F&B, Sales and Business Development. Daniel has enjoyed time with The Belfry, Marriott Hotels, De Vere Hotels, IHG and Jury's, also employed for over ten years with the Hilton Hotels.

The appointment of the new General Manager is an integral part of a new management team who are working towards a number of upgrades and services within the hotel, including the recent addition of the Pavilion events venue and the goal of Rosette status for the restaurant.
