Highways SIB event to be held at Bruntingthorpe in Leicestershire

Leicester Shire Promotions is supporting the Highways SIB (Seeing is Believing) 2016 event at Bruntingthorpe in Lutterworth, Leicestershire from 9-10 November 2016.

Highways SIB (Seeing is Believing) is a major UK conference for the highways maintenance and traffic management sectors. Up to 1,500 delegates are expected to attend the event that will feature both an indoor exhibition and outside demonstration zones.

Leicester Shire Promotions – through its Conferences@goLeicestershire convention bureau for Leicester and Leicestershire – is working in partnership with the event organisers to provide online accommodation booking for delegates and exhibitors, access to up to 60 per cent discounted train travel with East Midlands Trains, and essential visitor information.

Neil Levett, event director of Highways SIB (Seeing is Believing) said: “We’re delighted to be working in partnership with Leicester Shire Promotions to provide delegates and exhibitors with a portal where they’re able to easily access accommodation and discounted travel deals. We feel this is a great way of ensuring that Highways SIB is easily accessible to both visitors and exhibitors and look forward to welcoming everyone at the event.”

Bruntingthorpe’s Managing Director, Dave Walton commented that "he was delighted to have Highways SIB (Seeing is Believing) returning to the site for this very important event. This will be the third time the event has been held on our site which is a perfect location for the event given our brand new Hangar 42 events centre and access to the huge amount of test tracks and external space that we have available."

Martin Peters, Chief Executive of Leicester Shire Promotions added: “After a challenging time for business tourism in the post-recession years, we’re seeing a surge in interest from conference organisers looking to host their national and international events in Leicester and Leicestershire. We look forward to welcoming the Highways SIB (Seeing is Believing) event and delegates to the county in November.”
