The Centre stands on the site of the medieval friary of the Grey Friars where the king’s remains were buried over 500 years ago. Visitors are able to see the original site of King Richard’s burial, preserved now in a quiet, respectful setting and with a contemplative atmosphere.

Monday to Friday and Sunday: 10am – 4pm Saturday and Bank Holidays: 10am – 5pm
The Visitor Centre is closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Last admission is one hour and 20 minutes before closing.

Adults £8.95, children (3 - 15 years) £4.75, concessions £8, family ticket (2+2) £21.50
From November 1st until 23rd December, Leicestershire and Rutland residents can buy two tickets for £10.00. All you have to do is bring along a utilities or Council Tax bill with your Leicestershire address on it. Both tickets are valid for twelve months.
