How to find Melton Mowbray

Melton Mowbray is a market town in the Melton borough of north east Leicestershire. It is 14.5 miles (23 km) to the northeast of Leicester, and 18 miles (29 km) southeast of Nottingham.

By Road:

From the north, Melton Mowbray can be reaching via the A46 / A606, from the north eat by the A607, the east using the B676, south A606 and west via the A6006.

By Rail:

Melton railway station is on the line from Birmingham to Stansted Airport via Leicester, Peterborough and Cambridge. Trains run hourly in either direction. The service is supplemented with additional trains in the peak on route to/from Nottingham, Norwich and Sleaford. The station is managed by East Midlands Trains although most services are operated by CrossCountry Trains. CrossCountry intend to enhance their service gradually to half-hourly on this route. East Midlands Trains have a single daily journey from Melton Mowbray to London St Pancras and return.
