Burleigh Court is one of the Midlands largest 4 star accredited residential conference centres and hotel offering 225 en-suite bedrooms from the last word in luxury to unmatched quality and value. The hotel provides access for all and is proud to be Mobility 3 accredited, boasting some of the most accessible facilities in the region.
Guests can enjoy a refreshment in bar/ lounge area before dining in our contemporary restaurant during the evening. The hotel also has an on-site spa and leisure complex with facilities including a gymnasium, 15m swimming pool, whirlpool spa, sauna, steam room and skin care and therapy centre. Children are welcome to use the centre Monday to Sunday from 9am to 12noon and 2pm to 5.30pm (6.30pm on Saturday and 6pm on Sunday) Entry to the centre outside of these hours is at the discretion of Burleigh Springs staff. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult (maximum of 2 children per adult) and we regret are not allowed into the sauna, steam room or gym.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights as part of a Stay Play and Explore package which is designed for children and families with tix to local attractions provided. The spa and pool was only accessible at times when we were out and about - ie after 9am and until 5:30! And the Hot tub was stone cold. To top this off the spa staff were not welcoming and I was expressly informed that local paying members to the pool had precedence to hotel guests (when I asked why my children weren't allowed in pool at 5:30 even though front desk staff informed us the pool and spa was open until 6pm. )
My kids actually said they felt unwelcome at the hotel! Our bad experience was a shame because the restaurant was lovely with good food and great service and front desk staff were very nice but the health club is not singing from the same hymn sheet as rest of hotel. If the spa etc it is an independent business it needs to work harder at feeling integrated to hotel particularly as hotel is selling it as such - will not return to this hotel.

Reception A lowered section at the reception desk for enquiries and registration A seating area in the main reception area and the floor is level throughout The lobby and main corridor has a hard, slip-resistant floor and is well lit An accessible unisex toilet in reception Bedrooms 13 accessible bedrooms out of a total of 225 Seven of the accessible bedrooms have level entry showers and four have baths (left and right hand versions) Four of the accessible rooms have adjoining doors to another bedroom for the use of guests who need to have a carer nearby All 13 accessible rooms have alarms/pull cords for use in case of emergency The alarms are linked to a 24-hour staffed reception All 13 rooms have 'big button' hands free telephones.
