Stapleford Miniature Railway events

Stapleford Miniature Railway is a preserved 10 ¼" gauge steam railway running through nearly 2 miles of scenic parkland and celebrated its Golden Jubilee in 2008. The railway is private but was restored by volunteers in 1995 and now opens to the public two weekends per year in mid June and the end of August BH as part of charity steam rallies in support of LOROS, the local hospice.

Gates open 10.00am, £5 adults and OAPs, £3 children
Full size traction engines and rollers, vintage vehicles, craft and trade stalls, showmans

Sunday & Monday 28th & 29th August 2011

Features the Stapleford miniature railway, miniature traction engines and rollers, Showmans engine, fairground organs, vintage tractors and vehicles model tent, craft and trade stalls, Punch and Judy show, model railway suppliers and working model railway for children, local real ale licensed bar and catering

Gates open 10.00am until tea time, free parking in the park.
Admission £5 per car
Weekend camping £20 for 2 adults 2 children incl admission both days
Note additional small charge for trains rides
