Peter Montague takes over the reins as Regional Director of Barceló UK hotels

Peter will now be responsible for MICE and leiscure at all 21 properties in the UK, including the iconic Barceló The Lygon Arms Hotel in Broadway. Peter was previously Regional Director for ten of the group's properties in the UK.
CEO for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Barceló Hotels and Resorts, Raúl González, says: "Peter knows the Barceló UK portfolio inside out and has a great deal of expertise and experience with the UK market. He has done a fantastic job looking after half of our UK hotels over the last few years and I am confident that he will extend his success to the rest of our properties in the UK."
Wayne Topley, who was previously General Manager at the Barceló Hinckley Island Hotel, will continue to be responsible for overseeing the sales and operations at the Leicestershire property, as well as at the Barceló Daventry Hotel.
Regional Director of Barceló UK, Paul Harnedy, says: "Wayne has done an outstanding job at the Barceló Hinckley Island Hotel over the past two years and I am confident that he will use his skills and expertise effectively to develop synergies between these two keys hotels. He will be working alongside me and the rest of the Senior Management team at Barceló UK to continue to drive sales, develop the team and maintain high quality standards at these two excellent properties.
