Leicestershire Rural Conference - Foundations for the Future

Leicestershire Rural Partnership is holding its Rural Conference - Foundations for the Future on 1st March 2012 at Scalford Hall, Melton Mowbray, LE14 4UB.

The Conference provides the opportunity for people to:

* hear Adam Henson (Rural Farmer and BBC Countryfile presenter),

* understand the national context and priorities for rural communities from Sarah McAdam from Defra, and

* see the launch of the Leicestershire Rural Framework and the BIG 7 rural priorities for Leicestershire.

The Conference will enable people to influence rural activity in Leicestershire by taking part in the interactive workshops in the afternoon. This timely conference is a must attend event for people who care about making rural Leicestershire prominent locally and nationally as a thriving, strong, effective community in which to live, work and visit.
