The annual search for the most dynamic and innovative Leicestershire business has begun in earnest.

The 2012 Awards marks the 19th year and introduction of two exciting new categories: Innovation and International Trade. These new categories recognise the efforts that Leicestershire businesses have made in developing new markets abroad, and the successes achieved through innovation in the challenging economic climate of the times.
The awards are free to enter and judged by a panel of eminent business practitioners from across the county. Finalists and winners will, as ever, benefit from the extensive free PR, promotion and valuable networking opportunities which surround participation in the top regional business event of the year.
Winning an award sends out a powerful message to potential and current customers and suppliers and is proven to be one of the most effective boosts to staff morale you can get.

The application deadline for the awards is 25th November 2011 and the process is open to all Leicestershire organisations, large or small.
Any business of any size can win and some of the smallest companies have regularly taken top spot on the winner's podium. Category success has proven rewards to your bottom line; Business of the Year success has also opened doors to client opportunities on countless occasions for winners over the last 19 years.
Category finalists will be announced in January and winners revealed at the excellent gala dinner on 27th April 2012 to an audience of over 600 business leaders at Athena in Leicester.
