Details

One of the finest collections of unusual trees and shrubs in the Midlands, planting in our beautiful woodland garden was started in 1992 and the gardens now cover an area of nine acres.

Coach park: Coach parking available on site

Driver: Free access to garden

Bank Holidays - 10:30 until 16:30.

We are closed from December 24th to January 2nd and on Easter Sunday

Prices

Prices are as follows for groups:

Six to ten people: £12.50 each
11 to 20 people: £8.50 each
21 to 30 people: £7.25 each
31 to 40 people: £6.00 each
41 to 50 people: £5.00 each

These tours include a tea or coffee and must be per-arranged by calling the nursery.

Groups happy to walk around without a tour simply pay the usual entrance fee which is:

Adults - £5.00 each / Concessions - £4.00 each (over 60's, students & disabled)
(Children & teenagers under 18 free)

We are a Royal Horticultural Society Partner Garden, RHS members are admitted to the gardens free of charge (on presentation of a valid membership card)

From the South & West
Go to the junction of the A42 and the A511 on the outskirts of Ashby de la Zouch.
At this roundabout take the A511 North towards Burton upon Trent.
In about 200 yards go ahead, continuing on the A511, this is the new Ashby bypass opened in spring 2002.
At the next roundabout turn right onto the B5006 following the brown tourist sign "Arboretum".
Take the first turning left into the village of Smisby.
Go through Smisby keeping to the left of the Church.
The nursery and arboretum are on the right just after a sharp left hand corner.
