Reputedly the only pub of that name in Britain, The Bull and Lion has been the heart of Packington since the 17th century.
Located just a mile from the historic town of Ashby-de-la-Zouch and 5 minutes from the M42, the Bull and Lion is set in the beautiful village of Packington, in the heart of the national forest. The pub makes an ideal starting and finishing point for numerous lovely walkways in all directions.

There's ample parking for customers, two grassed areas - which are lovely on a summer’s day - and a purpose built smoking shelter with heated lamps.

Inside the pub there's a bar area with a darts board and, although we're not a sports pub, we do have a widescreen TV showing BT sports for those big matches.

The lounge is the perfect place to relax with friends at any time of the year, but between November and March visitors can enjoy the warmth of a traditional log fire.

The separate restaurant area is ideal for groups up to 14 people, although food is also served throughout the pub and in the garden.

Well behaved and clean dogs are always welcome.
