Heather Lane,
LE67 2TJ

The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Wood provides a safe place for birds to nest and breed. Visitors can enjoy watching skylarks, starlings and spotted flycatchers from the new bird hide, or relax and sit on the pond platform to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. A car park is located in Heather Lane, between the villages of Normanton Le Heath and Heather, and can hold 53 cars at a time. Woven wicker sculptures have been installed to help the car park blend in with its natural surroundings.
