Newarke Houses Museum

The Newarke,

Newarke Houses Museum combines a Tudor chantry house and Elizabethan merchant’s house to tell the story of Leicester’s social history and the Royal Leicestershire Regiment.

The museum is open to the public during the day, but can be hired in the evenings for private tours.

We also have a suite of Garden Galleries suitable for functions, training, talks, launches and exhibitions which can be used during opening hours.

The delightful gardens show the development of English gardens over the ages.
