Details

It's officially British Summer Time and, with temperatures set to rise during April, Leicestershire County Council is enhancing the visitor experience at its country parks.

From this weekend (Sunday, April 7), visitors to Beacon Hill, Watermead and Market Bosworth Park will be able to call in at mobile coffee shops to purchase hot drinks and light refreshments.

The two local companies are supporters of Leicestershire Food Links, a not-for-profit organisation which promotes the use of locally-sourced food in the county.

Something Nice will be at Beacon Hill, in the lower car park off Breakback Road, with Picks Organic - regulars at the National Forest Wood Fair - setting up at both Watermead (King Lear's car park, Wanlip Road) and Market Bosworth. They will be there every Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
