From Market Harborough town centre take the A4304 west (towards Lutterworth and Rugby) for 6.7 miles to the village of Husbands Bosworth, passing through the villages of Lubenham and Theddingworth.

In the centre of Husbands Bosworth village take the left hand turn onto the A5199 proceeding south and signposted to Welford (opposite the pub).

After 2.8 miles you will reach the Wharf Inn, on the northern outskirts of the village of Welford. Approximately 50 yards past the pub take Naseby Road, a left hand turning just after a bridge over a stream.

Drive east along Naseby Road for exactly 1 mile, where the entrance track to Oaktree Farm will be found on your left. There is a large sign easily seen from the road. Also a Bridleway sign is adjacent to the track.
Pass through the gate, and drive ¼ mile along the track to a further gate on your left, into the car parking area for the fishery.
Pass through the car park and through the wooden gate to reach the lodge.
