• Access Statement for Spring Cottage.
  
  We aim to cater for the needs of all visitors in our home based, 3 bedroom and breakfast. The following statement is a summary of our provision. If you have any specific questions please feel free to call us and we will endeavour to help.
  
  
  Pre-Arrival
  
  There is a bus stop 200 metres from the entrance along a level footpath and there is a frequent bus service to train stations, airport and cities. We have two train stations 15 minutes away by car, Parkway Nottingham and Long Eaton. We have a website with photographs of each guest room, all on the first floor. You can contact us via phone or email.
  
  
  Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
  
  There is free parking at the back of the house, we have low kerbs. We have two parking spaces to the front of the house off the main road. Assistance with luggage is always offered to all guests. The front entrance is accessed through a gate where there are two steps a flat platform and two more steps into the house.
  
  
  Main Entrance & Reception
  
  Entrance is into the hall with the dining room to the left hand side and the guest sitting room to the right. Guests are escorted to their rooms and facilities are explained. Corridors have picture rails and are decorated in a light and modern style.
  
  
  Public Areas-General (Internal)
  
  Guest dining room has polished wooden floor, large bay window and period oak fire-place, hall has polished quarry tiles and stairs have fitted carpet. Leading up the stairs are six steps onto a flat landing then the stairs split, eight stairs go straight up into the large twin room and the other stairs turn at a right angle of eight steps onto a flat landing with the double bedrooms leading off. All bathrooms are fully tiled
  
  
  Public W C - 1
  
  
  Restaurant/Dining Room.
  
  
  Breakfast is served in the breakfast room on the ground floor. Oblong table has underspace of 73cm high. There are chairs without arms which can be moved. We do not play background music in any area of the B & B. Full waitress service is available. Vegetarian and gluten free diets are catered for, other diets could be catered for by prior arrangement. The bed and breakfast is no smoking throughout the premises.
  
  
  Bedrooms
  
  
  All 3 bedrooms have a secure lockable door.
  
  Televisions/dvd all have remote controls teletext/subtitle.
  
  A bell is provided for in the downstairs central corridor to call for assistance.
  
  Carpets are all fitted short pile, with tiled floors in the bathrooms.
  
  All rooms have bed-side table lamps fitted with low energy bulbs.
  
  The Lavender Room has a king size sleigh bed with good access from both sides and a well fitted en suite shower room with power shower.
  
  The Ebony Room has a very comfortable black period bed with good access from both sides and a spacious en suite bathroom with hand held shower.
  
  The Peony Room is a mini suite with twin beds, good access all round, television area with couch, and a spacious en suite with power shower.
  
  
  Bathroom, Shower-room & W C (Ensuite)
  Peony Room - Mini Suite
  Door into bedroom 74 cm wide. Step up into en suite 7 cm high. Gap into shower 48 cm wide. Step into en suite 4 cm drop.
  Ebony Room - Double Room, en suite bathroom with hand held shower
  Door into bedroom 84 cm wide, door into bathroom 74 cm wide.
  Step up into bathroom 3 cm high, corner toilet, basin off the floor 31 cm high.
  Lavender Room - King Size Bed with memory mattress, en suite with power shower.
  Bedroom door 84 cm wide, step up into bedroom 7 cm.
  Step up into shower 3 cm high, small step over door into shower. Large bay window with writing desk and chair.
  
  Garden
  
  The garden will be available for guests to relax in on request.
  
  Additional information
  
  The Lavender Room and Ebony Rooms are opposite each other for easy access. All shower cubicles are above average size. Contact Information:-
