The first grand Carillon to be built as a war memorial in Britain. Climb the 138 steps to the gallery of the 151ft tower to view the magnificent scenery of the Charnwood area. The belfry houses 47 bells which are rung for concerts on Thursday and Sunday afternoons. The tower also houses a war memorial museum of armed forces memorabilia from the first and second world wars.
