About Ride Leicestershire & Beyond
Ride Leicestershire and Beyond was originally set up by Ride Welland the brand name of the Welland Equestrian Tourism & Leisure Project. The aim of the project was to make Welland the destination of convenience and choice in England for quality equestrian tourism and leisure.
To achieve this aim, ride Welland developed and integrated equestrianism with leisure and tourism opportunities. Comprehensive training events and business support tools enabled equestrian, tourism and leisure organisations to deliver consistently excellent goods and services to Welland visitors and residents.
The Welland area was widely marketed to promote awareness of its facilities and services to equestrians worldwide.
This project has since been developed by Leicester Shire Promotionsto extend the website to cover not only the Welland area but also the whole of Leicestershire and The National Forest.
