The new categories reflect the breadth of the local tourism offer and will make this year’s event the biggest yet.”

Winners of awards last year included local hotels, festivals and events, visitor attractions, restaurants, B&Bs, pubs, retailers, conference centres and self-catering accommodation. Stephen Hallam from Ye Olde Pork Pie Shoppe was crowned the first-ever Leicestershire Tourism Superstar.
