The Visitor Centre was presented with its trophy by TV newsreader and journalist, Fiona Bruce.

The educational offering at the Visitor Centre has evolved over time and the learning team now offer a wide range of resources and workshops for schools and colleges including a workshop where pupils can dress a medieval knight for battle and a discovery pack that supports pupils in their exploration of the exhibition. The team also provide bespoke learning opportunities for students in further education.
