British Sign Language tours at the Visitor Centre
Following the previous success of BSL tours at the Visitor Centre, the award-winning attraction has announced two dates for this year.
Tours will take place on Saturday 3rd September and Saturday 12th November, at 10:30am and 2pm on each day. The tours will be conducted completely in British Sign Language, with no spoken interpretation.
Those on the tours will be able to discover the incredible story of the king’s life, his death and the discovery of his remains. No visit is complete without seeing the place where the king’s remains lay undiscovered in a car park for over 500 years.
Rachel Ayrton, Learning and Interpretation Manager at the Visitor Centre said: “We’re really pleased to be able to offer sign language tours of the Visitor Centre and we look forward to welcoming visitors again."
The tours are free however spaces are limited and must be booked in advance – email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0116 229 4132 to reserve places. Entry to the Visitor Centre is subject to standard admission charges.
