Rural Business Funding (LLEP Growth Programme/EAFRD) - application deadline approaching
There is now less than one month to apply to the LLEP Growth Programme (EAFRD).
This call seeks applications that support jobs and growth in the rural economy and is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD).
The deadline for outline applications is: 27th November 2015 at 1700hrs.
In this call for funding, micro and small businesses in rural areas can apply as well as farmers or members of the farm household who wish to diversify into non-agricultural activities. Grants of between £35,000 and £140,000 are available for projects including in the tourism and local food and drink sectors and/or supporting good quality rural workspace and farm diversification.
Grants can cover a maximum of 40% of the total eligible costs of the project, the business will be required to fund the remainder of the project costs using private funding.
Before submitting an application for this funding, applicants will need to be registered for Rural Payments
