Musical magic at CONKERS this summer

CONKERS is presenting a range of bands and performers in its covered ampitheatre this summer to satisfy all music fans. The programme includes tributes to some of the world’s biggest and most popular music stars including Lionel Richie, David Bowie, Beach Boys, Dolly Parton, Little Mix, Spice Girls, Jersey Boys, ELO, Simon & Garfunkel, Travelling Wilburys, ABBA, The Eagles and George Michael.

CONKERS is located at the heart of The National Forest on the Leicestershire/Derbyshire border. Some of the acts playing at CONKERS this summer include:

Lionel Richie Songbook plus David Bowie (performed by Jean Genie)
Saturday 2 June

Islands in The Stream - The music of Dolly Parton & Kenny Rogers

Beached Boys

Listen in amazement as The Beached Boys recreate the super summer sounds of inspirational and very different California group The Beach Boys.

Jersey Boys Tribute
Friday 6 July

The boys take you back to where it all began, recreating cover versions of 1950s songs as the Four Seasons did, including hits such as, Still of the Night, Oh! Carol, Teenager in Love and Why Do Fools Fall in Love.
