Details

Founded in 1107, St Mary de Castro Church is historically the most important church in the city. It was originally the castle chapel, and where King Henry V1 was knighted in 1426.

The church is open Monday - Friday 12pm - 2pm all year Saturdays (Easter to end of October) 2pm - 5pm

Opening details

The church is open on Saturday afternoons and Bank Holiday afternoons (April-September); during services (Sundays 1100 and 1830, Wednesdays 1300 and Fridays 1300) and at other times by appointment.
