Take your taste buds on a gastronomic tour

Bring your group to Leicester and Leicestershire and enjoy a gastronomic tour of Leicestershire.

In Melton Mowbray, the UK's Rural Capital of Food visitors can try their hand at making their own hand-raised pork pie at the Ye Olde Pork Pie Shoppe, or at the Melton Cheeseboard there are over 150 different cheeses, many that are locally produced, so have a taste of a few and learn how they are made on a tasting experience. The Belvoir Alehouse offers tours of their micro brewery followed by a tasty meal made with locally produced ingredients.

Leicester is well-renowned for its curry houses, how hot dare you go? Or how about a lesson on how to make cocktails, followed by tasting a few, of course.

If you like gin there is a gin school just outside Loughborough where your group can see how the gin is made.

But if chocolate is your weakness, Chocolate Alchamy in the city can give demonstrations on how chocolate is made and the intricacies of decorating them to look totally irresistable.
