Leicester Comedy Festival 4-20 February 2011
Visit Leicester during February and you will be greeted with the sound of laughter. Each year the Leicester Comedy Festival rolls into town for 17 days and treats us to all sorts of comedic shenanigans.
This festival is the longest running Comedy Festival in Europe, with many acts going on to win awards and headline at Edinburgh. The festival has an exciting events calendar as well as the best in comedy talent. Past acts include Jack Dee, Dave Gorman, Rory Bremner, Barry Cryer, Alan Davies, Bill Bailey, Garth Marenghi, Rhona Cameron, Ross Noble, Lee Hurst, Johnny Vegas, Simon Day, John Shuttleworth, Daniel Kitson, Rich Hall, Jimmy Carr, Frankie Boyle, Russell Brand, The Mighty Boosh, Dara O' Briain, Simon Pegg, Lee Mack, Dave Spikey and Harry Hill... phew, to name but a few!
