East Midlands Food & Drink Festival
Each year Leicestershire celebrates the best in regional food and drink at the East Midlands Food and Drink Festival. As well as the best in regional produce, you can also sample tasty treats from around the world.
The event takes place from Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd October 2010, 10am - 5pm.

Find out how the infamous Melton Mowbray Pork Pie is made, watch cookery demonstrations from the UK's leading chef's, discover new tipples such as Melton Mowbray Sloe Gin and Melton Red real ale but best of all, you get to sample and take some goodies home.
Based in the grounds of Brooksby Hall, just outside of Melton Mowbray - the Rural Capital of Food and Drink - this food and drink festival is heaven for gourmet lovers and not to be missed.
