City centre car parking zones

NORTH - If you are travelling into Leicester city centre from the north of Leicestershire (A6, A607)
you will need to follow North Zone car parking signs for Abbey Street, Haymarket and Lee Circle
car parks.

EAST - If you are travelling into Leicester city centre from the east of Leicestershire or Rutland (A47) you
will need to follow East Zone car parking signs for East Street, Rutland Centre and Lee Circle car parks.

SOUTH - If you are travelling into Leicester city centre from the south of Leicestershire (A6, A5199, A426) you will need to follow South Zone car parking signs for East Street, Newarke Street, Welford Road and Rutland Centre car parks.

WEST - If you are travelling into Leicester city centre from the west of Leicestershire (A47) you will need
to follow West Zone car parking signs for Highcross John Lewis Car Park, Highcross Rooftop and St Nicholas Circle car parks.

Get here by bicycle: cycle racks are provided within Highcross Leicester, on most city centre streets, plus there's high security cycle parking available at the Town Hall for £1 per day. 0116 299 1234.

Travelling by Air:
East Midlands Airport is based in North Leicestershire, near Castle Donington and is just 30 minutes by car from Leicester. Birmingham International Airport is 45 minutes by car from Leicester.
Visitors travelling to and from East Midlands Airport and Leicester, can take the direct Leicester Skylink bus, getting you there in less than an hour. This service operates hourly during the day and for most hours during the night. Tickets cost £6 for an adult or £10 to include all zones covered by Arriva Midlands. If you are connecting on to the train from East Midlands Airport, there is a dedicated shuttle bus, Railink, which operates between the Airport and East Midlands Parkway every half hour from 7am until 11:30pm seven days a week. For information on Railink visit www.eastmidlandsairport.com
