Welcome to Market Bosworth
There's lots to see and do in and around the pretty market town of Market Bosworth.
Small, independent shops and craft shops surround the attractive, cobbled market square, and brightly coloured hanging baskets and flower beds are planted throughout the town every summer as the town regularly enters the Britain in Bloom competition.
There's a great choice of places to eat and drink in Market Bosworth, from Bosworth Hall Hotel which serves regular carvery lunches and afternoon teas, The Black Horse, a gastro pub with good food and a great atmosphere or for lunch or a coffee there are several cafes and tearooms where you can enjoy a snack and watch the world go by.
Adventurous families will enjoy a day at Bosworth Water Park, a 50 acre leisure park with lakes for all kinds of water sports including sailing, canoeing, rowing and pedalos. Take your bucket and spade to build a sandcastle on the sandy beaches or enjoy a game of crazy golf - there's something for everyone.
A trip to Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre is a must for anyone interested in seeing where King Richard III died in battle and a new king was crowned. There are regular guided walks with experienced guides, falconry displays, regular living history events and an annual re-enactment of the battle takes place in August.
